Immerse yourself in Australian Cricket and develop your skills playing in different conditions under the guidance of elite coaches with the International Cricket Academy.
With access to some of the best facilities, coaches, mentors and players from around the State here in QLD, the ICA will certainly develop you as a player and a person on and off the field.
The International Cricket Academy is an 8 week program based in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
Our program is set to run yearly from October through to December, on a daily / weekly schedule.
We believe our program offers a wide range of different tasks, challenges and activities that will ultimately give you the tools to
fullfil your potential.
the program
As an athlete in the ICA, you will join a group of cricketers in a program that includes:
Technical analysis and skill development
Coaches will work closely with the individual athlete, including the use of video capture to review their technique and suggest any changes or refinements that will help improve consistency and execution.
Tactical awareness
Athletes will develop team and individual tactical awareness through theory sessions, match review and training sessions.
Athlete Development
The ICA will tailor a Strength & Conditioning program to suit the individual’s physical and playing requirements, and players will have access to a local gym. Athletes will also have access to a nutritionist and mental skills coach.
Placement at a local club
All athletes will be aligned to a nearby cricket club to allow them to train alongside local cricketers and play several matches and truly experience cricket in Australia.
Unique Australian experiences
To compliment the cricketing experiences, a visit to Australia wouldn’t be complete without visiting our world renowned beaches and theme parks, which will all be arranged by the team at ICA.
